Eric Hotz: PAINTING Classes at Langley Arts Council (LAC)
My 2022 Painting Classes FEB 26th - APR 23rd

I work for the Langley Arts Council (LAC) as their Acrylics and Watercolours painting instructor. I teach 8 beginner-level painting classes on Saturdays, 10am to 1pm, teaching the basic techniques. My first 4 classes are devoted to Acrylic Painting on canvas and my last 4 classes are devoted to Watercolour Painting. Everyone is welcome to sign up. Ages 16+ but I will take on younger students if they are mature enough to work in a classroom setting with adults or are accompanied by a guardian.
NOTE: The below classes were run between Feb 26 - April 23, 2022. Click on the buttons to view photos of my art classes in action. No class was held on March 12th due to our room having been booked for another event.

I provided some watercolour and acrylic paints as well as some brushes for students who do not have their own but students should invest in their own paint and equipment so they can also work at home. I give demonstrations of each assignment and an example of the completed artwork.

NOTE: COVID protocols are in place. LAC requires masks to be wore. Hand sanitizer is provided.
