PAINTING CLASSES Langley Arts Council 2023

I have been teaching art and painting since 2014. My student's ages range from 8 years old up to 80+. I currently work for the Langley Arts Council (LAC) teaching beginner-level painting classes using Acrylics and Watercolours. My classes are on Sunday, 10am to 1pm in Aldergrove, Langley. There are 12 classes in total, taught one Sunday a week. In my first 6 classes, I teach Acrylic Painting on canvas, and in my other 6 classes, I teach Watercolour Painting. Everyone is welcome to sign up.
I teach student ages 15+ but can I teach younger students, as I enjoy their art perspective and enthusiasm, in my classes especially if they are accompanied by a guardian, assistant, or older family member (these do not have to be paying students), or are mature enough to work in a classroom setting with adults.

Watercolours & Acrylics for Beginners
Sundays, November 5 - February 11 13 Classes; 10am - 1pm PRICE: Approx $192 for 13 painting classes
NOTE: Classes can be Prorated: If you cannot start on November 5th, pay for only the classes you can attend.

My painting classes included a class on how to paint butterflies onto smooth river stones.
Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre
Langley Arts Council Classroom. Social distancing within each class and the wearing of masks is strictly enforced.
Everyone received a pencil, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, hand sanitizer, and a water cup.
Students are encouraged to keep these items and bring them to each class making the classroom safer.
I provided some watercolour and acrylic paints as well as some brushes for students who do not have
their own. I give demonstrations of each assignment and an example of the completed artwork.
