CHRISTMAS CARD Workshop (Saturday) Nov 26th, 2022

I also work for the Langley Arts Council (LAC) as their Acrylics and Watercolours painting instructor. I ran a 5-Hour Christmas Card Workshop on December 5th 2021, which focused on creating homemade Christmas Cards. All techniques I teach were both easy and fun to do. I also demonstrated and explained how to create easy hand-rendered type on the final cards. Although students created artwork for a single Xmas card, I went through the steps of how to create multiple copies of their card art so they can give away 10 or more copies of a single card.
The emphasis of my workshops and classes is always to have fun. I give everyone the opportunity to leave with the knowledge of how to make their own art. In my workshop, everyone created at least 3 Xmas cards.

Although it was pointed out that students should bring their own paints and brushes, as well as watercolour paper, I provided these to anyone who does not have their own supplies. I give demonstrations of each assignment and examples of the completed artworks
