TALISLANTA map
Talislanta (RPG) Map. The publisher, Wizards of the Coast, asked me to do a map for their RPG game, Talislanta. This was an insert map for their upcoming book publication. The map was published, as I recall, as 22x34-Inches (or close to that size). I created the base art, while and added the text by hand. This map was difficult to create as I was attending art school full-time at the time. I had to juggle art class assignments at the same time, which meat I had to work a lot of hours with little to no sleep in order to make the deadline.
I created quite a few such maps for various publishers including TSR, Iron Crown Enterprises, Wizards of the Coast, R. Talsorian Games, and Columbia Games, to name just a few. This map was well received in the gaming industry and community upon its publication. Today, I can render such maps and create the type overlays in Illustrator/Photoshop and do for a variety of new clientele.
