I find myself lost in the beauty of Rolley Lake Park with the lake, the background mountains in the far distant north, the numerous small streams, a small natural waterfall draining the lake within a 5-minute walk to the north-east, and a well-maintained pathway that completely circles its shoreline. I first ventured to this lake when I was 14 years old and that memory stuck with me. There are potential paintings hiding all around this lake. If you come here, try to take in the stream that flows out of Rolley Lake as with its beautiful waterfall at the end of a 15-minutes walk. I plan to create a painting of these falls when time permits.
