Monster Hunter. This illustration was part of a 10 piece commission. The illustration description for this piece stated that it was to depict the monster hunter as a young woman who seeks revenge on the monsters that reside outside her village. She was to be shown wearing various types of religious amulets for her personal protection against evil and magic, and various pieces of discarded and homemade armour. This project was fun to illustrate. I loved creating the details of the damaged chainmail, the etched sword blade, and the various scavenged types of armour pieces.
