Medieval Door. Having worked as an archaeologist, as an excavator and afield artist, I developed an appreciation for old handmade objects. I find medieval doors to be particularly fascinating simply because of the crudeness of their construction, their heavy components, and that many are still functioning originally as designed. Someone knew what they were doing when they designed this door. Who knows where this door leads and just how old it may be but whatever, I want to go through and explore.
