Lighthouse Park (No.2)

I used to frequent Lighthouse Park as a child with my parents and sometimes was accompanied by visiting relatives. My father was interested in this park because of its functioning lighthouse and because the park shows the scars of the last Ice Age across many of the rock faces. You can see the deep scratches left on the exposed rock faces made by the advancing glacier that was once a mile thick over this spot at its peak over 40,000 years ago.
I remember as a child, running through its forest trails and being told to stay away from the cliff edges. The cliffs are the best features of this park and certainly the most interesting.
