Kanaka Creek No.5
Kanaka Creek is a never ending source of inspiration for me as an artist. It is an easy 2-minute drive from where I reside and is well worth a visit especially if you are a photographer or an artist.
Kanaka Creek flows down from Blue Mountain, crossing Dewdney Trunk at 272nd street. This painting shows the Kanaka Creek as it appears next to the fish hatchery just outside Cliff Park, Maple Ridge. My "Kanaka Creek No.5" painting won an "Honourable Mention" award at Garibaldi Art Club's, 2024 Spring Show Exhibition.
