Hicks Lake is located in Sasquatch Provincial Park, British Columbia. Although it may appear that Hicks Lake is in a remote part of British Columbia, it is in fact only 20-minutes from the town of Harrison Lake. The only downside to visiting this park is the rugged gravel road with its many potholes making for a rough drive. However, the lakes and streams found here are nothing short of stunning and breathtaking. This is one of two paintings I have rendered of Hicks Lake. With the surrounding mountains and the large size of the two main lakes, the feel of this park is different from other parks found in the lower mainland. This region is rugged and as a result, that is what makes this park so unique.
