Gold Creek at the last hour of sunlight, also known as the Golden Hour! This creek is located in Golden Ears Provincial Park, BC, Canada, and flows into Alouette Lake. I hiked along Gold Creek when I was 7 years old and have ever since. This was the first place I ever hiked while wearing proper hiking boots. This location is a memorable, if rugged, location, surrounded by mountains and trees. During the 1858 Gold Rush, it was thought this creek may prove to be gold-bearing, so it was named appropriately although gold was never discovered along its course. However, gold was found not too far here in small amounts but never in amounts that would make someone rich.
