MEADOW FROG. As a child, I used get tadpoles from a pond in the woods across from where I lived in Burnaby, and out them into my aquarium. I would then observed them as they grew into frogs and then released them into Burnaby Lake or back into the pond. This artwork depicts one of the many types of frogs I observed. Part of a series of forest animals illustrations I created always proved popular with art directors and publishers.
