Deer Lake Trail No.4 painting is one of four paintings I rendered depicting scenes around the Deer Lake. The trail circles around the lake's entirety, crossing its marshlands via well maintained elevated wooden boardwalks, and traverses through meadows on a well gravelled footpaths. It is a wonderful place to walk, giving you level hike lasting around 1-hour and offering me many potential ideas or my future painting works.
The landscape reminds me of the English Fens and European bog lands, where stone and bronze age societies flourished in their day.
