Medieval Castle. I illustrated many castles and keeps over the last few years. I also rendered many floor plans for such structures to go along with my illustrations.
This illustration took a bit of research to make sure I was depicting it correctly. For one publisher, I was in charge of editing other freelancer's work, making sure their building floor plans were architecturally sound. Having had a father who was a professional engineer, these things mattered. I was given the floor plans of this castle, and then I rendered my illustration from those plans.
