The beaver pond in Smuggler's Cove Provincial Park, BC, Canada. Smuggler's Cove is an amazing park, incredibly picturesque because of the large beaver pond at its center, and its numerous arbutus and cedar tree-lined coastal coves. This park is unique and different from all the other parks I have visited. It is the perfect place to explore if you want unique scenes to paint. Bring a picnic basket and good hiking boots. The hikes are easy with no real hills to climb. You won't be disappointed.
