Kanaka Creek No.6
|
Kanaka Creek is a never-ending source of inspiration for me as an artist. It is an easy 2-minute drive from where I live and is well worth a visit, especially if you are a photographer or an artist. If you can traverse along the banks of this creek as it meanders east and then north, you will discover its beauty and ruggedness.
Kanaka Creek flows down from Blue Mountain, crossing Dewdney Trunk at 272nd Street. My painting depicts Kanaka Creek as it appears next to the fish hatchery just outside the eastern boundary of Cliff Park, in Maple Ridge. Painting Specifications:
