Hayward Lake Trail. This is one of five paintings I have done of this trail and park. The trail is found along side Hayward Lake and is the bed of an old logging railway system. A remote area but the trail is quite accessible pathway if you approach from the North park entrance along Dewdney Trunk Road.
Beautiful surroundings that include bears, osprey, bald eagles, swallows, coyotes, frogs, deer, and many other animals. Pack a lunch and water -- cell phone reception is iffy at best.
