This painting depicts a park along Fraser Dyke Road near Harris Road in Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada. I was standing at the river's edge at sunset looking westward and this is what I saw. This painting formed part of my 30-piece solo art show under the title, An Eye On Nature: ART SHOW in February 2020. It is a slight departure from my usual art style. It was an experiment to see if I could render a large piece quickly. I read that Camille Pissarro and Edgar Degas would spend 7-days over a single painting while Claude Monet would complete a similar sized painting in a single day. It took me about 8-hours to complete my Fraser River at Sunset painting over a single sitting.
